Seattle and Me

Well, it is now October, lots of things happening or have happened in the world of Jo-Jo. In June I started going back to the gym, in august Devin and I broke up, thats when my world started to crumble, he was my best friend i would have died for him.A week after that I got a Personal trainer and have been working with him two days a week. Then yesterday I lost my job. First time that i have ever been fired from a job, it sucked. On the plus side to all this, joined a dating website a few weeks ago and have been on a few dates, went on the best first date ever on Friday, October 12th. He took me to Olive Garden, then dancing at the dance studio that he goes to. So much fun. Now today he took me to see Frankenweenie. Cute movie. I am also down 16lbs since my first time at the gym, which puts me 4lbs for my graduation goal weight. Now i just have to hope that I have lost some inches. I am on the mad hunt to find a job so that I can keep my Personal trainer because I love working w...

It is now May 17th and 2012 is just flying by. I got a new job in a bakery called Shoofly Pies and I love it. I have been there for just about a month and a half. So much better then Burger King. It is so crazy. I am also a third of the way done with school , so excited. It is so nice to be on my way and into a career that I enjoy. Devin is still loving his job and even got recommended to a new client. We have also adopted a new Pug named Oakley, he is such a daddy's boy. Really is Devin's best friend. I think that Devin would be so lost without him now. Hard to believe that Devin is my best friend and we have only known each other for 2 years. I just feel like me around him, that is how I know that he is my soul mate, my soul is whole again,. I would be lost without him, Thanks to Jake and Valorie for bringing us together at the right time, you know what is best for us. Love you two and rest in peace!

A lot of changes have been going on in the Simon-Guerrero house hold, I started school on the 9th on January and passed I have a 3.3 GPA and now starting my second term today. Time flies when your baking. I am excited to start International cakes, I hope that I will also be getting a new job soon since I am now down to 10 hours a week, not fair to Devin and we won't have that much money, So I hope I can find something soon! Other exciting news Devin and I are looking at getting another Pug, this one will be older and hopefully keep Leeloo in line. We took Leeloo to a pug party for Valentines day and she got 3rd in the costume contest. Leeloo will be 9 months on the 2nd of March! She is getting so big so fast.

Well new things are happening this year for me, I started school at Le Cordon blue January 9th, it has been a very busy first week. Also trying to look for a job in the baking world get my feet wet and ready when September rolls around and i'll be on my way. Hoping that when I am into the business a little bit then I can go to school for business and get my bachelors, then open my own place and make cakes for everyone and let children design there own and help make the cake. I am also hoping that things will be changing for Devin and I as well, only time will tell. My best friend Ashley Dianna Kraft came out to visit for 10 days and we spent every moment that we could exploring downtown and just hanging out like old times. it was a great new years, very busy end of the year, Devin got a new job, we moved into a new place and then I got a new car, so glad that things are settling down. it was just so busy. Well that is all that I have for now.

I lost my youngest brother in 2008, it was a huge wake up call to what I was doing with my life. I did so many things that I was ashamed of, I forgot my morals and my values. In the last year in was a major fall and then climbing back to the top of the mountain and when I wanted to turn back my friends and family were there to show me that my past is at the bottom and there is no need to return and now the sun is shining on my future and I can't wait to see what is there. I know that I will have the most amazing husband, loving friends and family and my loving Pug Leeloo. I am very thankful for the people that God has put in my life and you know all of my life is the way it is because of him and the love he gives to me. 

Fall is finally here, I love fall the smell of the rain on the leaves, the smell of Pumpkins and thanksgiving dinner. Also the cool breeze across your cheek as you step outside. One of my favorite times of year. scratch that it is my favorite time of year. Now that I have been with Devin going to Oktoberfest is added to another thing that makes fall my favorite. I also like the fact that you start to wear jackets and scarves, drinking hot chocolate. I don't know if I could say anything more.

Well my 23rd birthday has come and gone. I am not only two years away from being a quarter of a century not so much scared or nervous about this excited more the less because I have made it this far and life is wonderful. I have great friends and family who were able to celebrate with me.  Speaking of which, in the past weekend there has been many kind words said to me and I am so happy that I have had such an impact on so many people in a year of knowing them. My friend Cherie said how happy she was that she had gotten to know me over then last year that she is thankful that I am with Devin and that I made it to being around another year. Then Curtis said how he wants us to hang out more and called me his sister almost got some tears on that part. He has only known me a year and yet he calls me his sister means much more then I thought it would when I heard it.
