23 and still young

Well my 23rd birthday has come and gone. I am not only two years away from being a quarter of a century not so much scared or nervous about this excited more the less because I have made it this far and life is wonderful. I have great friends and family who were able to celebrate with me.
Speaking of which, in the past weekend there has been many kind words said to me and I am so happy that I have had such an impact on so many people in a year of knowing them. My friend Cherie said how happy she was that she had gotten to know me over then last year that she is thankful that I am with Devin and that I made it to being around another year. Then Curtis said how he wants us to hang out more and called me his sister almost got some tears on that part. He has only known me a year and yet he calls me his sister means much more then I thought it would when I heard it. Then another friend Andrea was talking about how happy she was that I was happy and that I found some that takes care of me and loves me. I am and I am glad that it shines though everything that I do. I want to show Devin off to the world he is my everything and I don't know what I would do without him.

My home may be gone and also some pounds but not my pride.

On April 30th,2014  my gym closed it's doors forever. I am still unsure about what my future holds going to L.A fitness.  I said good bye to some friends/family, but not forever just while things are figured out. Vision Quest was a home a place to be comfortable and myself where all my stress just went away.  We as a family created many memories in those walls. We hope that our family will stay strong as we make this new gym our home. It will never be the same and not everyone will know my name when I walk in the door. I do know one thing my family is behind me and will make sure I complete my goals. So here is to the future and what lies ahead and not behind.

Self care entry #1

What am I most proud of? I would have to say the thing that I am most proud of is that I actually completed some college and I am married. I never would have thought that I would actually do either of these two things, in 2012 I complete my certificate in Pastry and Baking for Le Cordon Bleu. In September 2020 I got married after 4 years engaged and almost 8 years together. Be accomplishments that going on my past I never would have thought would be the case. I am so grateful for the life that I now have and the one that I continue to create with David.

An update on life

5/10/2023 Well I have officially lived in Seattle for 13 years now, what a crazy concept.  In 2019 I left my job of 7 years at Panera to start my new job as an employee at a small business called Vitaminlife.  In February of 2020 after only being at my new job for 3 months I stepped up and became the assistant to my department as my Manager was out due to the morning of the loss of his friend and co worker John O'Brian. At the end of the month David quit his Temp job and started working with me. Then in March of 2020 the world closed down due to a world wide pandemic. That was crazy, running out of Toilet Paper at the stores, soap was hard to find, wearing masks everywhere, restaurants closing because people couldn't be inside together, small businesses having to close because they could not afford to stay open. A crazy part of life for sure. Then the middle of the Pandemic in the crazy madness, David's mom went into the hospital and had 13 surgeries in a matter of months
