An update on life

 5/10/2023

Well I have officially lived in Seattle for 13 years now, what a crazy concept.

In 2019 I left my job of 7 years at Panera to start my new job as an employee at a small business called Vitaminlife.

In February of 2020 after only being at my new job for 3 months I stepped up and became the assistant to my department as my Manager was out due to the morning of the loss of his friend and co worker John O'Brian. At the end of the month David quit his Temp job and started working with me. Then in March of 2020 the world closed down due to a world wide pandemic. That was crazy, running out of Toilet Paper at the stores, soap was hard to find, wearing masks everywhere, restaurants closing because people couldn't be inside together, small businesses having to close because they could not afford to stay open. A crazy part of life for sure. Then the middle of the Pandemic in the crazy madness, David's mom went into the hospital and had 13 surgeries in a matter of months. One surgery left her unable to walk, leaving her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life, she is now in an Adult Family home after a year and some months of being in the hospital, with several trips back to the hospital with infections, illness and other medical issues. Fast Forward to September 2020, David and I got Baptized on the 5th and Then 20 days later we got Married.

2021- Was a quick year not much happened as we were still dealing with Covid-19 Pandemic.

2022- At the being was still Covid related but by the end was our new normal and getting back to life before everything happened. I was promoted to Assistant Warehouse Manager. Seattle Mariners ended their 21 year drought and went into post season, lost in an 18 inning game to the Houston Astros.

2023- Started January like normal.

February- Another normal month

March- Not to much still

April- Arya and Logan turned 9 and 6

May has been ok for the 2 weeks we are in, in 1 week I will be dropping Rachel and her family off to head to DisneyLand for 5 days 4 nights and in the beginning of June David and I will be flying to Michigan where David will get to meet more of my family and see my hometown. I am so so so excited to show him where I grew up.

Not sure what to say

Well all I can say is that I am bored and really wanted to type something. I can't lie I missed myspace and blogging on there, But this is much better.   I was born and raised in Michigan, many people when I tell them that they say Minnisota close but not so much lol.  It's been an amazing time here in Seattle though, I have an amazing man as well as an adorable puppy name Leeloo. She is almost 3 months old.   Also, I never imagined myself here in the big city but its nice and there is so much to explore. I am going back to school as soon as my man is done with grad. school. Not sure where but I will be finishing my degree in Ele. education.

2013 and Jodie 2.0 Back in action

Well a new year has begun and many things have changed. No Joshua in my life, he was crazy and saying that he would kill himself to be with me, he also said that he loved me when we had only known each other for a day. On the plus side, I now have been at Panera Bread as a night baker for 4 months. On Christmas I started dating David Jason Morrison, He is truly the man of my dreams, he misses me as much as I miss him and he has the same cheesy romantic sense as I do and I love it. Finally the man of my dreams right here all mine, I love him so much. In December I got a roommate and we live in the apartment that Devin and I rented a year ago, Her name is Pamela Mccall, she is so far a great friend. I got her in the gym with me and she now has the same trainer as me Gareth Whiteley. Speaking of training I had to stop paying because my rent is mostly where my checks go to and also my gas and a few other bills. So i have only been able to pay every other month and not every oth...

Happy with me

I lost my youngest brother in 2008, it was a huge wake up call to what I was doing with my life. I did so many things that I was ashamed of, I forgot my morals and my values. In the last year in was a major fall and then climbing back to the top of the mountain and when I wanted to turn back my friends and family were there to show me that my past is at the bottom and there is no need to return and now the sun is shining on my future and I can't wait to see what is there. I know that I will have the most amazing husband, loving friends and family and my loving Pug Leeloo. I am very thankful for the people that God has put in my life and you know all of my life is the way it is because of him and the love he gives to me.
